HealthLink, part of Base Logistics Group, is accelerating its growth in healthcare logistics. We are seeking a Vice President Sales Healthcare to lead commercial expansion within the medical device and healthcare sector, driving strategic growth in highly regulated, mission-critical supply chains.

The opportunity

As healthcare supply chains grow in complexity and regulatory pressure increases, HealthLink is expanding its commercial leadership to support long-term, sustainable growth. The Vice President Sales Healthcare will own and shape the global healthcare sales strategy across the US and Europe, working closely with the Chief Commercial Officer to align commercial objectives with operational excellence.

This role is designed for a leader who combines strategic vision with executive-level deal ownership and understands how to scale enterprise sales in regulated environments.

What you will own

As VP Sales, you hold full accountability for commercial performance, strategic sales direction and market expansion within the healthcare vertical.

You operate as both a strategic leader and an executive-level dealmaker, setting direction for the organization while remaining personally involved in high-impact customer opportunities.

You will:

  • Own the global sales strategy for Healthcare Logistics focusing on med-tech and biopharma.
  • Drive global revenue growth in the US and EU
  • Lead, develop and scale a senior sales organization
  • Serve as executive sponsor on strategic enterprise accounts
  • Translate market developments into commercial opportunities
  • Ensure alignment between sales strategy, operational capabilities and customer value

Key responsibilities

  • Own and execute the healthcare sales strategy within the framework of Base Logistics Group
  • Generate and close new business opportunities with mid-size enterprise accounts
  • Manage and optimize the end-to-end sales cycle, from acquisition to contract closure
  • Lead pipeline management, forecasting and budget ownership
  • Personally lead strategic negotiations and complex deal structures
  • Build long-term, value-based partnerships with healthcare and medical device customers
  • Present and defend commercial plans, investments and forecasts to executive leadership
  • Represent HealthLink in strategic sales projects aligned with long-term growth objectives

Sales & organizational leadership

  • Lead and develop the Healthcare Logistics sales organization, including direct leadership of the Sales Director (North Carolina), Sales Manager (United kingdom), and Sales Manager Biopharma (The Netherlands), and indirect oversight of additional sales resources (2fte)
  • Create a performance-driven culture focused on accountability, development and results
  • Establish clear sales objectives, plans and execution frameworks
  • Ensure effective internal communication and alignment with Operations, Solutions and Customer Service
  • Enable team members to achieve objectives through coaching, direction and clear expectations

Customer value & service excellence

  • Maintain executive oversight during implementation and operational phases for key accounts
  • Proactively identify service, performance or compliance risks and initiate corrective actions
  • Ensure a seamless handover from sales to operations and ongoing customer satisfaction

Who we’re looking for

You are an experienced commercial leader with a strong track record in healthcare, medical device or highly regulated logistics environments.

You bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree (advanced commercial or business education is a plus)
  • 8–10+ years of senior sales experience, including leadership responsibility
  • Proven success selling complex supply chain solutions within healthcare or medical devices
  • Experience managing enterprise sales cycles and high-value contracts
  • Strong executive presence with customers and internal stakeholders
  • A disciplined, data-driven approach to pipeline management and forecasting
  • Excellent command of the English language, written and verbal
  • Takes full ownership of results and outcomes
  • Makes decisive choices in complex, fast-moving environments
  • Thrives with autonomy and responsibility at senior leadership level
  • Willingness to travel internationally as required (25-50%)
